Welcome to the official page of the Syro Malabar Youth Movement (SMYM) at Christ the King Parish. Our beautiful SMYM group was established in 2016 from which we have conducted many events to lead our beautiful youth through their journeys to encountering Christ.

The Syro Malabar Youth across the world are called to lead a life as a witness to Jesus in Catholic Church and very particularly in the Syro Malabar Church. They are called to lead a saintly and happy life thus to excel themselves in the world around. The movement aims to develop youth in spirituality and faith in the context of Catholic teachings and beliefs, thereby ensuring a solid foundation to the church.

Keep an eye out for our monthly gatherings (every 3rd Saturday of the month) and other events such as gatherings, fundraisers, outings and charity initiatives. Some events we have already conducted include St. Thomas Day and Perunal celebrations, monthly adorations and mass, sausage sizzle and food/drink stalls outside church and much more.
